Mushroom Growing Kits

Mushroom growing kits are a quick and easy way to produce your own crop of fresh mushrooms. They consist of a block of mushroom substrate spawned with a particular mushroom that has been grown to the point where it is ready to produce a crop of mushrooms. All you have to do is put the block in a suitable place and in a week or so you have your mushrooms. The difficult bit is the suitable place. It is vital that you find the right niche for your kit if you want a good crop of mushroom from it. Most kits will produce 2 or 3 good crops but as the substrate is used up. The mushroom becomes weaker, the block starts to crumble and you will begin to get moulds taking over.
